At ELDIM, our expertise lies in the precise optical control, that guarantees the quality of all our lenses and optical components. Our meticulous process includes measuring thickness, radius of curvature, centering, and diameter to ensure optimum performance and accuracy. This commitment to detail ensures that our optical components meet the strict standards required for a range of advanced applications.
At the end of this control process we provide a complete control report to our clients.
Interferometers
At ELDIM, we use interferometry techniques to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of components up to Ø200 mm in diameter. Our workshop is equipped with interferometers that allow us to meticulously analyze surface quality of optical components.
In addition to our standard analysis of components, ELDIM offers specialized interferometry services tailored for components with significant radius of curvature. By applying the “interferometer by part” methodology, we can accurately assess and confirm the surface characteristics of these complex parts. This unique capability ensures that even the most demanding optical elements meet strict performance standards and function effectively in their intended applications.
At ELDIM, we are committed to maintaining excellence in optical inspection. Our services provide accurate and reliable measurements to support the design and manufacture of high quality optical systems. Whether you need precise customized curvature analysis, ELDIM’s interferometry services are tailored to meet your specific requirements.
Stitching Interferometry
SSI is a breakthrough in optical metrology, providing high precision data for flat and curved optical components. It overcomes the challenges of measuring large optics where traditional methods fall short, making it essential in modern optical manufacturing.
The process involves measuring partial apertures of an optical surface and combining them into a full aperture map using the Stitching Interferometer System (SSI). This technology overcomes the limitations of measuring large or complex shapes by integrating an interferometer with advanced motion, alignment, algorithms, and control software to accurately measure various optical components.
The SSI system can be combined with Magnetorheological Finishing (MRF) for spherical and aspherical lenses to enhance quality control. This combination allows precise post-measurement retouching to enhance optical components. The Stitching Interferometry System is essential for maintaining high production standards and quality assurance of advanced optical elements at ELDIM.
Profilometers
At ELDIM, metrology is essential in the production of high precision aspherical lenses. The profilometer is a critical instrument used to accurately measure lens surfaces to ensure that each product meets the exacting standards required by our customers.
The profilometer is essential for verifying the quality and performance of aspherical lenses. It allows us to achieve production accuracies down to a fraction of λ (lambda), significantly reducing surface errors. This level of precision is critical for optical applications, where even small imperfections can affect system performance.
The full integration of metrology into our manufacturing process enables us to monitor and control every stage of production, ensuring consistent adherence to the highest standards. At ELDIM we are committed to using technologies such as the profilometer to provide our customers with world class optical solutions.
Black laminar
At ELDIM, we are committed to ensuring the exceptional quality of our optical products. Our advanced inspection methods include the use of black laminar flow hoods to examine surface imperfections in accordance with ISO 10110 standards. This approach allows us to accurately identify any irregularities that could affect the functionality of our lenses.
