Zemax
Eldim is specialized in metrology systems based on Fourier’s optics. We realize our designs with Zemax Opticstudio based on our customer’s specifications. We manufacture systems from simple to complex designs with lenses, both spherical and aspherical, prisms and mirrors. As Eldim has its own optical fab, we have a special focus to the manufacturability of our designs. Tolerancing is a key step in the optical design process to ensure that the system meets the customer’s target in terms of performance, cost and time. Assembly and calibration are considered at the optical design stage to ensure a smooth transition from the theoretical design to the real system.
R&D Innovation
With its optical fab, Eldim can manufacture and assemble any type of design required. Such as conoscopes, colorimeters, polarimeters, optical benches and calibration stations, colored filters and neutral densities. According to the customer’s requirements, we design systems in the visible and infra-red, in different environmental conditions.
